It was during the last two months of my mother’s life I had been scheduled for a “second look” mammogram. At that time my doctor said he wanted to keep an eye on a particular area.

It was then I developed a plan for myself, complete with the tools I felt I would need should I ever receive a breast cancer diagnosis. I didn’t want to be totally unprepared, knowing a breast cancer diagnosis would result in a very stressful time, and it would be tough making decisions under stress. As an only child, both my parents gone, no other family, and my closest friends at the time lived quite a distance from where I lived, I knew I would be relying mostly on myself (in addition to my fantastic medical team).

My name is Kim Croft, the Breast Cancer Recovery Coach. I am passionate about sharing the tools I developed which enabled me to conquer my breast cancer diagnosis, bilateral mastectomy, and nail my recovery. My doctors were amazed and commented often on my positive attitude, ability to heal quickly, and flourish.

While I don’t know what I would have done without my Breast Cancer Recovery tools during that difficult time, I now realize they continue to provide ongoing benefits as I apply them in many other areas of my life.
