From Survive to Thrive
Kim Croft the Breast Cancer Recovery Coach

Kim’s Story

When I saw the caller ID I just knew it would be a good report.

Kim Croft_5362rThe call was from my doctor. “We have the pathology report from your biopsy, you have breast cancer, I’m really sorry.” Time stood still, and in that moment, I knew my life would never be the same.

I had lost my mother the year before my breast cancer diagnosis to metastatic breast cancer. It was during the last two months of my mother’s life I had been scheduled for a “second look” mammogram. At that time my doctor said he wanted to keep an eye on a particular area.

It was then I developed a plan for myself, complete with the tools I felt I would need should I ever receive a breast cancer diagnosis. I didn’t want to be totally unprepared, knowing a breast cancer diagnosis would result in a very stressful time, and it would be tough making decisions under stress. As an only child, both my parents gone, no other family, and my closest friends at the time lived quite a distance from where I lived, I knew I would be relying mostly on myself (in addition to my fantastic medical team).

My name is Kim Croft, the Breast Cancer Recovery Coach. I am passionate about sharing the tools I developed which enabled me to conquer my breast cancer diagnosis, bilateral mastectomy, and nail my recovery. My doctors were amazed and commented often on my positive attitude, ability to heal quickly, and flourish.

I want to give these tools to you so you can harness the power of your mind to triumph over your own breast cancer journey, and then continue to thrive.

In addition to being a breast cancer survivor, I am a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE), Certified Professional Coach endorsed by World Coach Institute; an active member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (Board Certified Hypnotist), and The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (Board Certified Hypnotic Coach); and a NLP Master Practitioner (AUNLP). I am a graduate of the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, Florida’s only State Licensed school for Clinical Hypnotherapy, World Coach Institute, American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery volunteer, and hold two Masters degrees.
